Good Morning Sir,

Please suggest a good studio budget light for newborn and maternity shoot. I am newbie. Currently I have Nikon D5300 but planning to upgrade soon (Brand not yet decided).

Second question I have regarding image resizing.

how to resize image to a particular size like 5×7, 6×8 etc? How to resize for social media? What size is good for social media like facebook and instagram?

While delivering digital edited copies to client you advised to deliver in 2 formate. one for social media and one for prints. What size is good for print for nikon D5300?

 Good morning Sushama,

So here are your answers 🙂

For budget studio light you can check GODOX SK400 units, if you wanna go lower than that on your budget then you can check out companies like Digitek and Simpex. I personally suggest Elinchrom Frx 400 units.

To resize any image you need to either use photoshop or lightroom and crop as per the aspect ratio you want to deliver. Then you can reduce the Dpi and compress the images as per your needs.

Yes, it is preferable to deliver two qualities for your client’s usage. One for web and one for print.

For Instagram, it is better if you do 1:1 conversations before delivering them to your clients. I prefer using full resolution for Instagram as well.

Any camera delivers best with full-size RAW processed as PSD and given to your client in TIFF if considering the printing.
